Journal Introduction:

Main Group Metal Chemistry (& beyond) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal committed to publishing manuscripts addressing the theoretical, spectroscopic, mechanistic, and synthetic aspects of inorganic, coordination and organometallic main group metal and semi-metal compounds. Manuscripts focused on other metals may be also submitted. The journal publishes studies relating to environmental aspects of these metals and semi-metals, their toxicology, release pathways and fate. Articles on the applications of metals, including in the fields of polymer chemistry, agriculture, electronics and catalysis, are also accepted. It is poised to captivate a diverse readership across the fields of chemistry and biotechnology, including scholars who would like to gain profound insights into the latest scientific breakthroughs, as well as non-scholarly readers, who seek to expand their knowledge and deepen their understanding with reference to the newest discoveries in the field of science. Main Group Metal Chemistry (& beyond) assures the top quality of published data through critical peer-review and editorial involvement throughout the entire publication process. Clear presentation of experimental and computational data is strongly emphasized. Thanks to the Open Access model, it also offers unrestricted access to published articles for all users. The published content includes original research and review articles, mini-reviews, rapid communications, editorials and erratums. Aims and Scope The journal aims to facilitate the communication and collaboration of scientists across different countries. Main Group Metal Chemistry (& beyond) accepts especially manuscripts containing results about the chemistry of the following metals and semi-metals: lithium to cesium, beryllium to barium, boron to thallium, silicon to lead, phosphorus to bismuth, selenium and tellurium, and also zinc, cadmium, and mercury. Manuscripts containing results about the chemistry of other metals can be also considered for publication. The scope of Main Group Metal Chemistry (& beyond) covers scholarly research in: Main group metal and semi-metal compounds Coordination compounds and metallo-organic complexes Spectroscopy Toxicology Metal release pathways and fate Applications of main group metal chemistry Polymers Chemistry of other metals
