Lipids
基本情報
Lipids is a journal of the American Oil Chemists’ Society that publishes high-quality peer-reviewed full-length research articles, rapid communications, and invited reviews focusing on lipid research. Lipids publishes research studies emphasizing lipid function, the biochemical and genetic regulation of lipid metabolism, and the emerging large-scale study of cellular lipids' pathways and networks in biological systems encompassing the lipidome. The main feature of all manuscripts submitted to Lipids is that they extend knowledge in lipid science and that lipid-related findings are the study's primary outcome. Manuscripts that report the findings of studies demonstrating novel mechanisms in lipid biochemistry or metabolism are welcome. The journal is also interested in receiving manuscripts that describe clinical or nutritional studies, including those that report novel insights and applications of plant and microbial lipids. Lipids will also consider papers demonstrating novel methods or applying established techniques in lipid research. Overall, the primary criterion for acceptance for publication in Lipids is that the study applies robust, up-to-date methods of investigation to increase knowledge and understanding in the field of lipid research. Lipids, founded in 1966, publishes original full-length research articles, rapid communications, and invited reviews in lipid research focusing on the chemistry, biochemistry, and metabolism of lipids, lipidomics, and preclinical and clinical nutrition. In addition, Lipids publishes papers establishing novel methods to address questions in lipid research.
